Joseph Richey Hospice

Since 1987

Remembering 35 Years of Service

The Joseph Richey Hospice opened in 1987. Its’ founders, the All Saints Sisters of the Poor and Mount Calvary Episcopal Church conceived the hospice as a renewal of the original “charism” of All Saints founding sister. The convent and church founded JRH determined to offer the dying love, comfort, pain relief and spiritual support. Named after the 7th Rector of Mt. Calvary Church, Father Joseph Richey, who invited the All Saints Sisters to establish their religious community.

Our Specialty: Effective Pain Control

Joseph Richey is known for providing truly effective control of pain and symptoms within 24 hours of admission to our programs. Our protocols were designed by our team of volunteer physicians under the leadership of our former co-medical director, Dr. Robert Irwin.
